Expense & Money
AntsBase provides you two personal finance management tools, Expense and Money. Expense manages your personal and business daily expense. Money manages your bank account, loan, credit card and cash info.
Expense uses has three layers of category (root, secondary and third category) to classify your expense records, so you can have a right category for each of your expense record. You can setup accounts for your checking account, saving account, loan and cash. You can grant one or more root categories of Expense or Money accounts to other people to share data and collaborate with them. It will be much easier for your family members to manage the family expense and finance based on the data authorization.
The powerful statistics functionality of Expense and Money helps you understand your money flow and how your money was spent. In addition, the reimbursement report function can generate business reimbursement report for you automatically, what you need to do is to record your expense directly into your AntsBase account or using your mobile device such as Treo 650 whenever it occurs and then sync to your AntsBase account. Thus, you will no longer need to manually create your business reimbursement report.
Import and Export system helps you import your expense and money data saved in CSV, Excel or text file, as well as data downloaded from your finance institutions into your AntsBase account. Thus, you will no longer need to input these records manually. You can also export Expense and Money records from AntsBase into Excel files.
AntsBase mobile Expense and Finance software (under development) allow you to manage your expense and finance anywhere anytime directly from your smart phone or PDA, such as Treo 650, and sync with AntsBase.
An Expense record and a finance record can be linked together. When you create an expense record you can select a Money account to automatically create a finance record, thus, you can view the expense info directly from your Money account. Similarly, a finance record and another finance record from a different account can be linked together as well. There is a "" icon in front of the linked record to indicate the record is linked to an expense or finance record. The record linkage will help you understand how your money is spent and control your money flow.
